Looking for people to ride with in the Costa Mesa/Newport area...

Hello,

New here, first time posting. I'm 23, I live by Triangle Square, I try to bike 25 miles every weekend and I'm looking for people to bike with to sort of help push me. I ride a roadbike and I'd like to think I can keep a brisk pace. So if there is anyone local looking for a cycling partner, hit me up!

I ride 25-30 miles every other day up to the dunes or Newport Coast usually solo or occasionally with a friend. If you have lights and feel like doing some night riding (after 5:30 pm when I get back from work), let me know. 23 as well.

I have some one LED so-i-dont-get-a-ticket lights, but I'll be buying something a bit more substantial this weekend. Around what area do you start from?

Yeah I've been meaning to check out the backbay, I work on Redhill and Bristol so I'm right by it. I'm down for next weekend if its not raining. Where do you start from, my only mode of transportation is my bike.

Live in Costa Mesa not too far from the fairgrounds. Where's your normal ride?

Hi all!

Was going to post the same at some point!

I live in west side cm near fair drivr (del mar) and orange. I mostly ride at night at 6pm for an hour or so. I start at the backbay intrepretive center, take the path to brown trail under jamboree, to irvine city hall park, double back, and go around the back bay toward pch and loop back. Total run is 20 miles. There are many other combinations back there as well.

Would be killer to form a regular night ride group, maybe meeting at the backbay center at 6pm a few nights a week? Riding with others definitely makes for a better work out.

I'm in if others are. 39 years old if thats relavent. 18-20mph pace.

I live and work in Tustin, by the Market Place off of Jamboree / I-5. I usually ride 4 days a week during the weekday after 5pm. Send me a message if you want to get together for a ride. BTW I'm 41!!
