Hill training suggestions?

Training towards the Tour de Cure 60-mile route in Long Beach/San Pedro/Palos Verdes on May 1 and realize I need to do some hill training if I'm even going to attempt to deal with Anchovy and the climb on the peninsula. Since I'm in the L.A. basin and still not 100% comfortable riding on the street solo, I'm looking for some suggestions of places I can do some climbing that aren't too far away and fairly low auto traffic. Any suggestions would be more than welcome.

Thanks, folks. Much appreciated.

If you're not too far from the Glendale/ Burbank area, Griffith Park might be an option. There are numerous hills throughout the park, and while they aren't particularly long, several have a decent grade. Its a public park so expect some vehicular traffic, but if you can get there some morning during the week, road wise, you'll probably have the park to yourself.

Unfortunately weekday mornings my boss expects me to be at work. I've thought about Griffith, but several folks have warned me about vehicular traffic on weekends. A friend suggested Bundy in Westwood as another alternative.

Anchovy is steep but short; you can try Mountain Gate off of Sepulveda or riding up to the Hollywood sign from Beachwood. Either will be more than enough training.
