Excellent choice on your first shoes. Sidi's are pimp. (You didn't scuff them when you fell over, did you?)

Nice, i recently put some Shimano 105 pedals on mine, practiced in the garage for a bit then proceeded outside and fell off straight away. Luckily nobody was around to see. Been good since then.

I've got that beat. I was on a long, long motorcycle ride on my little Harley Sportster from Central Colorado to here in SoCal. I'd spent most of the day on Interstate 50 (which is a long, boring straight road through the Road Runner cartoon background that just goes forfreakinever) and I stopped in St. George, Utah for gas & dinner. I pulled up to a stoplight next to a VW Cabriolet convertible with 3 SUU coeds, and I'd been on the interstate so long, I'd forgotten to put my foot down!--I came to a stop and just toppled over. One of the girls got out of the car and offered to help, but the profound humiliation gave me the strength of 10 men and I promptly yanked up the fully loaded bike and rode away, my face burning with shame.
