Anyone here from Temecula, CA?

I am going to be in Temecula this weekend. I'm planning on riding Saturday and Sunday around 50 miles each day. I will be staying near Winchester Rd and Nicolas Rd. Please show me some route.

TIA

Look up De Luz canyon-- it's very pretty, though it will probably be very wet, too.

+1. The website is actually http://www.capoolsracing.org (no "L").

Saturday's ride starts in Murrieta which is just north of Temecula. It's a fast 2 hour training ride on a flat out n back route. Expect speeds averaging around 23-24mph with extended periods at 26-30mph.

Sunday's rides start in Temecula and feature 50-70 mile hilly routes around the DeLuz & Fallbrook areas. These are a more friendly pace with re-grouping after each major climb.

Saturday's route is always the same. Sunday's routes vary and this weekend's routes will be posted later today.

We're a friendly group. If you join us don't be shy. Find someone in the CAPools kit and introduce yourself. They'll give you the lo down on the day's route. Hope we see you there!
