I've read your other thread, but, are you sure it's the FD and not the brifter or lousy LBS adjustments?

Hope that fixes your problem. I'm planning on using Rival for my Litespeed rebuild that I hope to finish this weekend. I'll let you know if I experience anything like you went through.

i cant know im new to road biking but lets assume its not because sram isnt going to send out a free upgrade if its just an adjustment issue.no one is that nice.but to upgrade me form rival to force and giving me no crap over it is just amazing.they didnt even hesitate to take care of me and improve me and send a free shim as well.by the way i have no freakin idea what a shim is.

no difference you will notice. where are you getting your bike serviced? That makes a big difference if the install wasn't good to begin with. did you take it back to the dealer to have them adjust your cables after a few hundred miles? What exactly was the problem?

oh yes i took it in and took it in 3 more times front derailleur just would not respond much at all mostly from going from the big cog to the small one.so i have a new force derailleur coming from sram to replace my rival one .bike is only 1 month old.sram upgrading me for free too.its become obvious to me early that finding a great tech is going to be hard.new shim coming too
