Crystal Lake
This is going to be a ride everyone can attempt and given the drive most can be happy about what the accomplish. Even if you cannot go all the way given the out and back nature you can go as long and far as you want.

This is a ride for anyone and everyone. I will not be pushing the pace so all speeds are welcomed and encouraged.
This ride started because of a friend who was looking through my ride photos and noticed the beauty of the 39. So now were off to get him his first taste of the challenging beauty of the 39.
There are going to be plenty of meet spots and all times are give or take 5 mins. There will be a meet spot at my place in South Whittier at 8am. #2 is on the SGRT and Beverly and SGRT. #3 is on SGRT and Arrow hwy. The last meet spot is on the 39 and the end of SGRT

There are plenty of weekend rides so I thought a weekday ride would work for the few who have some time in the weekday. If this goes well I might plan another on a weds or something.

Great day today! Thanks for coming out on a Tuesday and fighting the heat!
Here's a few pictures
The heat was not prominent at the start of the 39 climb
East fork regroup had talk about how hot it was getting
Six riders was a good turnout IMO
we started splitting up as the grade and the temp increased
Adam's snack bar is one reason this ride is now one of my favorites
And what's a Crystal Lake ride without the lake?
