Bianchi dealer in SoCal - who is the "best"?
Which are the highly respected Bianchi dealers in SoCal? Hopefully somewhere in the L.A. basin. Looking to purchase a frame and wish to work with a dealer who has a good reputation and is willing to work with their customers. Thank you.

Not sure about the best but Dons bikes in rialto sells Bianchis. I think most of the B inches come from BD.

Thanks TJ. I'll check them out. Pretty sure Bikes Direct never sold Bianchi bikes. They are too "upscale" for discounters.

It's a bit away from you, but King's in Seal Beach sells them. It's a nice little shop which does mostly high end stuff, but the owner's cool and I've heard nothing but good things about the mechanics.

I've seen Bianchi at Coates a couple years back, test rode a CF roadie. Haven't been in there for a while but they had only 3 or so on display. They are a good shop but I'd call before making the trip. Pomona/Claremont on Foothill Blvd (Rt 66)
site says they still sell Bianchi

I was hoping to purchase from Competitive Cyclist, but they seem to just get the frames and build them up with the higher end groups. They don't even carry what the Bianchi web site specs the bikes having. I was hoping for Athena, but they stop at the Chorus level. No 105 either, but they do go down to Apex in SRAM ... but an Italian frame should have Italian components, right? I'm looking at the Sempre. It's for my lady. I'm set myself with a couple of nice bikes.

Open Road in Pasadena is a huge Bianchi dealer. Keep in mind this is not your traditional bike shop. As soon as you walk in you'll be overwhelmed with parts and gear just thrown about. Shop is run by one guy named Steve, he's the salesman and mechanic. Great shop if your into Bianchis and in general a cool shop to visit.

Orange 20
Orange 20 Bikes in Hollywood, I think, sells Bianchi. They're on Melrose and Vermont. I bought my Surly there but they also sell a lot of other hard to track down bikes. I couldn't decide between a LHT or a CC and they let me order both in my size to try. I had to put half down and agree to buy one, but they're pretty cool. They can kind of come off snooty if you have a complex, but they're really cool. I'm buying my sisters Surly from there. Oh, but they're mechanics are not the greatest, bunch of young kids. Just don't ask for anything too difficult from them.

Bianchi Dealer
Just in case you haven't gone down to Seal Beach to visit Kings. I was there about 2 weeks ago and was shocked........no Bianchi's, no Orbea,.......I asked about looking at Bianchi and (I think the owner) that he couldn't make any money on them. I was floored! They had the Jamis brand and the Scott brand. That's all I saw. I think the Bianchi USA site still has Kings listed as a dealer but...........

Update. We purchased a Bianchi from Adrenaline Bikes in Orange on Friday. There are no more Sempre frames in the size we need for model year 2010 (available from the Bianchi warehouse). Was told that Bianchi has under-produced the past couple years for the U.S. market. (I'm guessing they had a lot of left over stock when the economy tanked a few years ago and don't want to do that again.) We purchased an Infinito instead. Just a couple hundred more than the Sempre, but the slightly less aggressive geometry will suit our needs better than the Sempre geometry. Got a fair deal from Adrenaline, and Matthew was most helpful in trying out various models, discussing our options, etc. He spend as much time with us as required. Only downside is that it will take two weeks before the bike is ready for pick-up. That is one busy shop! Small place, but they sold three bikes in the time we were there.
