Should be no problem, but my wife is flying in to LAX Sunday and I have to pick her up . . . so it's a matter of when her flight is landing whether I'll be able to make it or not.

Will find out and advise. Hopefully see you there!

I'm still a hopeful-maybe. Still awaiting confirmation that my Pa is going to be out of town on Father's Day, and that I'm not tagged for puppysitting.

You want a ride to this Robert? We might be picking up Lauretta in Laguna on the way, so take it easy on the sweets and fried foods until then, so we can all squeeze into my truck.

You already posted a thread in the other forum that I visit.

I'm not sure this Sunday will work for me, I was hoping July but will play it by ear.

I will post it in my blog but a big list of riders is what attracts bigger numbers with the other groups, but I'll post the ride and see what happens.

Hey Beanz, quantity is always at expense of quality. Less riders, but the best.
I'm in. Might have to take the chicken-out route back (through Claremont) because I have to get home fairly early.
By the way, I'll park at the Glendora High School and I'll try to be at Boulder Springs around 8:00. I think it's just a matter of time before we piss some of the residents off. The high school parking is huge, there are no residents to disturb, and you get a ncie 1.5 miles warm up by the time you get to Boulder Springs.

Hmmm....I would love to but I don't think I'm ready for this yet. My first flat 50 almost killed me I can't imagine doing almost the same distance with 5000' of elevation gain, when 800' almost did me in.

Maybe by the end of the summer!

I might be in. I'm doing the Grand Tour (200km) on the 26th. I need a long ride this weekend with some climbing. So I might ride up GMR/GRR to the village. Then maybe descend Little GMR to East Fork, Back up Little GMR and descend down Big GMR. But I need at least 80 miles and I haven't quite figured out my route yet. If I come out there, I'll at least start out with this group.

you never know until you try. being in a group might give you the adrenaline to push through and climb.

Anybody going out from Pasadena? I'm up for it if I don't have work that day and if I can get a ride (I don't think I'll want to ride out to the meeting spot at 7 am)

I appreciate the offer but I have to pass on this. I've been off the bike for almost two weeks now and still sore from the crash. Pretty busy this weekend too with some other things.

Riders of all levels are welcome.
There's no way I could make that climb yet. I'm not in the best shape, and all my bikes are 80's steel with 52/53 x 42 cranks.

I'll see you guys when you want to do SART.

Jeez! Two weeks and you're still not healed up? I'm very sorry to hear it. What happened? Is your new bike okay?
