Got my F55 from Chuck at Pacific Coast Cycles back in June of '05.
After 4 years of abuse under my behemoth @$$, the right chainstay gave up the ghost,
but when I called Felt to see if they'd give me some kind of discount on a replacement, they refused, saying the frame was guaranteed for life and they would REPLACE IT FREE OF CHARGE. So now I have a '09 F55 with slightly different graphics, (and a stouter, box-section chainstay.)
Very happy with it (clearly) and I'm planning on buying another felt in the next two weeks.

Felt Z5 here.
Blingy cf water bottle cages and destickered wheels since this picture was taken.
I'm in San Diego, so a shop recommendation would be out of the question.

Not too far from you, Velo Pasadena. We bought my wife's ZW6 from there and liked the selection and service we received. They actually have a 2nd store in the Valley so even if they don't have it there they might have it at the other store and will bring it down for you.

To be honest, if I could climb as well as I know you can, I wouldn't care what the shoes looked like either. With ability comes the right to wear what ever you damn well want .
Really liked your write ups on riding over on Catalina. Might have to try that one of these days. Looks enjoyable.

Got mine from George at Bike Religion in Newport. George is a great guy, very passionate about bikes and I would buy from him again without any reservation (other than the fact that its kind of far from home). I've been back several times and had some minor tweaks done at the shop and the were great each time.

Thanks! How hard is it to keep that yellow bar tape clean? I'm having a hard time with white and am thinking of going with black bar tape. Not sure if it would look good.

Yep, it's a PITA to keep clean. As long as you get the higher-quality tape, (Specialized Roubaix tape is my favorite so far), it will come pretty clean with a rag soaked with dish-soapy water, then rinsed with a rag damp with only water.
Nothing lasts longer than black though.
