This is way, way late but my wife deserves some credit.
I was looking at the pics from last years tour de foothills that I paticipated in and found a pic of myself. https://www.flickr.com/photos/6226283...n/photostream/
I'm right behind the fella' with the yellow jacket. I have the blue jacket and you can see my bright green bandana under my helmet. However I also noticed that there are no pics of what for me was the best rest stop of the tour, the one that my wife and her family supplied.
Originally they were there to cheer me on at around the half point mark and supply me with food and water. I belive it was right before the last climb of the ride. Well since my wife and her aunts are so nice they decided to share what they had brought with anyone who needed it, and when that ran out they went and bought more. I belive that someone even had the luck that my wife had my pump when a rider neded it. I dont know if anyone here encounted them but if you did perhaps you are as greatful as I was.
