Where are you riding this weekend ? 06.23/24

I know its only Wednesday, but already itching for it to be Friday.

I think this Saturday, I'm doing a 20 or so mile loop around Fontana/Rancho Cucamong and then come back and head up Lytle Creek, to the firing range at the end. 5 or 6 AM start, if anyone wants to ride

Velo Allegro is doing a GMR-to-Baldy and back ride on Sunday, 06/24.

They're not riding out but they are meeting at Starbucks (435 Foothill Blvd., Glendora) and will have two departure times: 7:15 and 7:30, with the 15 minute head start "for you non-Contador types."

"From the base of GMR, we will make a 24 mile climb to Baldy Village with a 5,180 ft elevation gain. From Baldy Village, we will ride back down the mountain the same way we came for a total trip distance of 48 miles. Count on a total riding time of about 4 hours. "

Going up to Big Bear with two friends and will be mountain biking; Saturday off the lifts and Sunday around town. Can't wait...

Genaro, let's meet in the middle - how about a 6:15am start. What kind of a loop around Rancho/Fontana you looking to do?

I was just trying to get a little mielege before Lytle creek. We could head down Baseline to Miliken, and back up through Banyan, or instead of this loop, we could go up through Devore and head back down to Lytle creek. Whichever you guys want to do is fine with me, a little more climbing if we head up to Devore

Where & when? I live across the street from the Dove Library in La Costa. I'm the guy commuting every morning on El Camino Real with dogs either on the bicycle or motorcycle.

Don't know when I'll be free for riding, but I'll definitely be out both days, probably in the morning.

Baseline to Miliken sounds alright to me. Where on Baseline do you start? JusRelax and I would be starting from Baseline and Beech.

Anyone riding SART on Saturday morning to beach from Green River, etc? A little wary of stealing and beating I've been hearing about in forum.

Most of my sart rides are early and on the weekends. You shouldn't have any issues riding alone. I have heard of people getting their car broken at Green River, so I always park above Yorba Park off of La Palma at the shopping center. If you want the full mielege, you can go the the beack, back to Green river and back to La Palma!

Ride with us tomorrow, either at the beginning of the ride, or we'll pick you up around 7AM as we come back through Cherry

Thank you! Good to know about this things. No worries on parking.. I will be starting from my home...(riverside near Moreno Valley) planning to do little over 110 miles or so... Need to get a decently long ride in before I start loosing my endurance base.

You could start with us at 6:15 and do the short loop I mentioned above, or if you want, we'll be coming back your way around 7. We will hang a left onto Cherry and could meet you on any of those streets before Duncan Canyon. Just let us know.

Bored, that's quite the ride. I've ridden from Fontana to the beginning of Waterman SART, but hated the section through Muscoy/San Bernandino, but connected to the lower SART> Awsome ride.

Rode from the coast to Valley Center. Got a nice covering of pesticide when I rode through FarmVille. I saw the guy at the fence and his finger tightening on the trigger.
