Where are you riding this weekend ? 07/07-08

Saturday or Sunday,I'll probably end up riding from N.Fontana to Azusa Canyon, up East Fork down GMR and back home. Early start if anyone wants to join the fun! Estimated 80-85 miles, I think :thumb:

GMR since I didnt make it on the 4th.

FYI Genaro, that is a 90+ mile ride I think.

Close, just mapped it out at 87 miles - I'm going to become a better climber this year, one way or another..

Not sure what your schedule is, but Indomikey and I will probably start from Azusa at the parking lot at the beginning of the SGRT at around 7am on Saturday. We're going to go up East Fork, back down GMR, and traverse back on Sierra Madre. Would love to ride with you if possible!

That may work. I'll plan on leaving early enough so that I could meet you guys there at 7

I would like to hang as well but leaving at 5 is a little too early for me. It takes me 90 mins to get to the base of GMR from my house. It would probably take me another 15-20 mins? to get to the end of the bike path at the base of Azusa Canyon. I would probaly go to the village instead though and back home.

Change of plans for me. I will be doing the same route, but on Sunday instead of Saturday. Sorry guys.

Here is the ride from today, 39/East Fork/GMR

Sat: Oceanside/Coronado/Bayshore Bikeway. Started with a small group of SD Randos in Oceanside and joined NC3 at Swamis. Rode with Robertkat most of the day.
Sun: The plan is to meet the club ride at the Old Bonsall Bridge (the original old one, not the newer old one) and head to Fallbrook. The last time I did this I ended up mistiming the group and did a long solo ride.

Here is my ride. I have always wondered what the backside of GMR is like, it looks steeper.

Connected the IRT to the SLRRT, a short stretch along the ocean, then back into the hills up Palomar Airport Road. Rode Harmony Grove Road in complete darkness. Interesting experience.

Nye's Place and Park Avenue in Laguna Beach for a little steep climbing.

Rode locally in Chino/Chino Hills and got a puncture flat on my new "bullet proof" Durano Plus tires. It sure felt hotter than the mid-80's out there at 11:30am.

Where is the new thread genaro? Buying a car on Saturday so hopefully ride lytle creek in the evening. Hiking my baldy on Sunday from the village.
