The current one on walmart.com looks black to me.
We've gotten some in the shop that are maroon frame with champagne fenders, though. They don't look as "retro" as this year's model.

Hmmm, looks browner and redder than the Schwinn Coppertone. Not as dark as Raleigh rootbeer.

If you're talking about the Point Beach, main difference is Alu frame on the PB. Should be lighter.

Ah, good to know. That's the one I was thinking about. But, it only shows 2 lbs lighter shipping weight than the brown one. I guess 2 lbs is 2 lbs. I know it's a cheap bike...but the more expensive ones are ugly. And, it has to look OK as garage art when I'm not riding. I'm open to suggestions. I really like the Electra Mullholland. But, it's very expensive at $850, only 3 speeds (I want 6-7)....and for that kind of money they coulda chromed those nasty gold wheels. So, bang for the buck takes me to Walmart, where a Huffy I got for $87 did me fine for over a year, many miles, then sold it for $100
