Why does it have to be a Cannondale dealer?

Oh, here's a guy who does them in Whittier - I have no experience with him, just letting you know what I found.

Sorry, let me clarify. I plan to buy a Cannondale bike and was looking for shops that will do a free basic fit before I take it home. Just to make sure my seat height and other basic things are addressed. I don't think a lot of LBS will do that. I know specialized and I believe Incycle will fit you to your bike.

My wife just bought a relatively low end Cannondale from Performance Cyclery in Santa Clarita (NOT the Performance Bikes that you're thinking of). They put her on the trainer, measured a few angles and lengths, set the seat and let her go. He would have made changes if she needed it, but it was a great fit from the beginning. No charge for that.

I bought a Cannondale Six Carbon at Incycle-Chino and they spent about an hour and half fitting me as part of the purchase. From adjusting my cleats to changing out the stem. That was my first experience buying from Incycle. Since then, I bought a Cervelo from Incycle-Chino and a Cannondale Synapse 3 from Rancho Cucamonga and have never had a bad experience at any of the four Incycle locations. Some of the shop guys are experienced MTB and others are pure roadies so make sure to ask their experience level (IMO). That said, Incycle is my go-to shop.

Agree. I got two bikes fitted and my wife had one. All feel great. BTW, we bought her C-dale at TWD in Brea (before The Path carried them) but had her fit done at The Path.

Update: Thanks for all the recommendations.

I got my bike at Pat's605Cyclery. Cannondale Synapse Carbon 5. Ron gave me a good deal on this 2012 bike. The guys there are great. Ian, Ron and Rick. Ron fitted me for my bike (basic) and I'm very happy with the fit.
