Where are you riding this weekend 4/6 - 4/7

Posting for Genaro since he is spoke shopping.

Hey Genaro if you get your spoke fixed ride with me. I know you said you want to to Azusa to South fork but I can do the same ride with more milage in the same time.

Let's see. If Dons has the spoke I'm in, but what time do you expect to be home. I'm pushing for 1PM at the latest

I've gone to Incycle, Competitive Edge, Cycle something in Rancho, PErformance, and Sport Chalet. No Dice.
Hope Dons has it. Crossing fingers

I took you up Hermosa and your bike just wasn't ready for that kind of climb after sitting on the trainer for so long.
OK so if we leave at 6am we will be back roughly by 1pm at my pace. That is leaving from Cherry and Summit and not accounting for your travel to and from there.

If I get my wheel fixed, I'll meet you at the corner of Cherry and Wilson at 6AM Sunday. Will let you know tonight if they have the spoke or if I can get a loaner

I always forget about these threads.

Today was Escondido to Ramona via SR78 then looped back on Highland Valley & Bandy Canyon. Great day for a ride.

Today - a short 9 mile loop around the neighborhood with my 10 yr old son... almost 900 feet of climbing and about that much complaining too.

Tomorrow - a mini "hills of whittier" course to tackle some of the hills I missed on Rick's last ride through here. Not terribly long but should be terribly hilly.

Genaro - spare wheel set. Live it, love it. I'm on my spares right now.

I also went out to Ramona via SR78. Started in San Marcos and finished coming back through Harmony Grove. 70 miles and my legs were toast at the end. Thank God for granny gears.

Yesterday, I warmed up then did 5 sets of ZeCanon Intervals on the Eldo crit course. Ouch. Finished up riding tempo to the beach and back for a surprisingly hard 26 miles.

Today, me and the other fatties rode tempo to Balboa and back. 52 miles.

I need to find a better spot in the week for intervals.

I agree. Not only do I ride a compact, it's Apex so I have the big cog in the back to rely on if needed.

Not sure if it was a Genaro spotting or not? Genaro - I think I saw you descending Little GMR on Sunday somewhere between 12-1PM? I was riding up, having already ascended Big GMR and partway up to Crystal Lake..

I just saw this. Thanks for offering. I actually drove out to Don's in Rialto. They had em'. The Mavix Aksyium's changed every year from 2008-2012 I was told Mavic's proprietary parts hard hard to come by as they get older. Who knows. Anyways, I bought all they had left, just in case.
Sean, yes, I agree. I am saving up for a set of spares. Actually, my current wheels will become my spares when I get my cycleops wheels.
