Cyclist hit by Car in San Clemente

Friend just told me a cyclist was hit on El camino Real and Canada intersection. He was taken to the Hospital. Hope He is not seriously injured. I live in San Clemente, Bikes should probably Stay away from el camino real, on the weekend. way too many distractions for drivers.

You really need to keep your eyes open riding El Camino Real through that area on the weekend, but need to be aware just as much. I hope the guy wasn't seriously hurt.

If you listen to a police scanner you will hear lots of calls for "vehicle vs cyclist". Most are minor but they seem to happen 2-3 times a week in just a 3 city area in LA
