Congratulations, I think. Good to see you are still around. I will not be riding locally as there are a number of us doing the Cool Breeze ride which is wonderful when it is so hot inland. I did ride to work today so maybe I will see you around later?

Congrats! I presume that promotion = more disposable income for wheels.

Cool Breezing it with Joe.

Gonna take my birthday ride tomorrow, (Friday). Riding SART from San Bernardino to the beach and back. Every birthday, I try to ride twice my age in miles and triple my age in kilometers. It's getting tougher with each passing year. Usually I ride the double-metric at Cool Breeze, but this year my conditioning is really poor, so I need a bit of an easier route.

I'll be out on SART tomorrow as well, in the morning, from Lakeview down to the beach and back. Many of us wear this jersey, some with red sleeves, some with black.

Happy birthday Volo, and good luck riding 48 miles today.

And gratulations on the promotion, G-money.

Got a nail in my motorcycle's tire last weekend and heard a good one while I was getting a new tire in Oceanside:
So this guy walks into a bar and sees a platoon of Marines high-fiving each other, spraying beer, and chanting "THREE WEEKS!-THREE WEEKS! - THREE WEEKS!!!" He walks up to the soberest of the Marines and asks what they're celebrating. The Marine leads him to a completed jigsaw-puzzle of cookie monster on the bar and proudly points to the box it came in: "Recommended for 2-4 years."
"THREE WEEKS!-THREE WEEKS! - THREE WEEKS!!!"

Riding the double-metric up in Ventura. Hear any good jokes about the Army while you were in?

Too bad you can can't come out for the ride Genaro, they have a few ride options that I am sure you can do! Does work require you to be even more on call?
