Where Are You Riding This Weekend? (10/12 & 13)

I miss Genaro. Anyone seen him out there at all?

Taking my kayak, dogbike and surfboard down to MissionBay & Harbor Island & spending Saturday with the family.
Might blitz Pendleton on Sunday to sweat out all of Saturday's beer & wine.

Going to be a beautiful weekend after this rain. Where are all you kids riding?

I haven't ridden in a month so I haven't had the chance to see him. I think I heard his work schedule changed so he no longer rides on the weekend or week days? ............Speak of the devil he just uploaded something to Strava. This weekend is around the block for me, slowly making the transition of the trainer and on to surface streets. Trying to get my AC joint use to ore pressure.

I'll probably do Mt. Soledad Friday morning. Then depending on what's going on with my regular crew, I'll either do SDBC Saturday morning or whatever ride they're cooking up.

CHSP. After yesterday's rain, I'm hoping to find some hero dirt out there. Probably be out there both Saturday and Sunday. I haven't been on the road bike in months, pretty much since the Alondra bridge was taken out. I think I've lost my stomach for riding in traffic. Can't say I miss it much since I'm having such fun in the dirt.

I was going to post a forum Palomar ride but I'm on IR waiting for a cortisone shot or hip surgery. Hopefully a shot will take care of it.

Saturday is the Ironman World Championship so I have to get my ride done before 10:00. Probably going to ride out to SART and back for 20-30 miles.

trying to finish up a strava challenge and need 73 miles so will likely hit the silver strand/coronado area and bonita/chula vista for those easyish miles.

$#it bro. Good luck. As a back surgery veteran, I almost hope the shot doesn't take care of it, so that the surgery can. Whatever happens, be an A+ therapy pupil, try yoga, and keep us abreast. (Of the yoga, I mean. It's always chock fulla sweaty, hot, young, scantily-clad chickie-babies.)
Seriously, though. Good luck. Living in pain ain't no kinda life.

I'm riding the Bass Lake Double out of Clovis on Saturday, driving home Sunday morning and will probably do a fixed gear recovery ride when I get home.

thanks Chris. I spoke to my doctor; he referred me to a specialist. The pain is from bone spurs and arthritis from an operation in 1987. I'm hoping a shot will take care of it. I had one in 2007 and was supposed to get periodic shots every 3 to 6 months. It worked so well that I never went back.

Nice ride Elvo. I've still not been up Silverado.

I rode SART, like I always do....saw about 10 people in 30 miles....barren tarmac of training awesomeness.
