I was approaching the same left turn, behind the monster truck who was also making a left turn. He was drifting out of the left turn lane (aka making a farmer turn), and he either didn't have his turn signal on or it turned off when he drifted out farther.
I assumed he was no longer making a left turn (changed his mind and decided to go straight) and I was in a hurry, so I attempted to pass on the inside.
When he suddenly cranked his wheel to make the U-turn, his monster tire clipped me and I went down.

And thanks for the recommendation on the poisonous Comfrey Tea there, Jimmy: http://www.calamarichris.com/smiley/rolleyes.gif http://www.calamarichris.com/smiley/laugh.gif

"...however comfrey has been found to be toxic to the liver when taken internally, and may cause hepatoxicity. As such, oral use of comfrey has been banned in North America and the UK and comfrey is currently only sold for topical purposes."

Edit: However, when I googled "Livestrong broken bones", this little gem came up: http://www.calamarichris.com/smiley/beerchug.gif
"One of the potential benefits of drinking beer and healing bones is that beer contains silicon, a mineral needed to build new bone mass and other connective tissue. "

OK, first of all, have I ever told you not to drink beer? You obviously don't read what I post. :D

This offer is still good, just let me know when you'll be up for it. I hope GP and some of the other SD yuppies will join us.

The second question - what do you drink that makes you mix Dutch with that scheisse-language? ;)

You have to google the benefits of drinking beer!!?? I'll have to fill some serious gaps in your education, boet! ;)

As for the comfrey tea - all I know is that it was freely available in 2004. I bought it from Mother's Market in Irvine. And I know that horses and donkeys instinctively search for that plant when they have a broken bone. Since they are smarter than your doctor (and for sure smarter than that reincarnation of Oedipus that hit you with his monster truck :notamused:), I'd rather trust them. :D
