Groups to ride in Santa Monica

Hi people,

I recently moved to Santa Monica from Spain, and Im looking for road bikers to ride with.

Iam Jose, Im 26 years old and Ive just bought my first road bike. If somebody want to ride with me, I will appreciate it. Ride alone is as a pain...

There are a ton of groups in that area (Santa Monica, West LA, etc...). Check at a local bike shop. I'm up in San Fernando Valley, but I know La Grange is in that area and have a very diverse group of riders: fast racers to old fart rec riders with rides many days of the week.

Lots of choices from West LA: Lagrange, LA Wheelmen, Marina del Rey Cycling, Shifting Gears, just to start. Check out Helens Cyclery or Bike Effect, or google. All the local riding groups have websites. If you don't mind driving to Redondo Beach, Beach Cities Cycling Club offers rides at all levels.
