PSA: Big bump w/ crevice in bike lane on EB Imperial Hwy near LAX

As the title says. It's probably about 1/3 mile prior to the Imperial Hwy / 105 split.

It had just turned dark and was going to end my ride at the metro station (Started in Long Beach, went up the SGRT and rode through the SGV, through downtown and then to Manhattan Beach ; was planning on going through PV to get back to Long Beach, but ran out of daylight), so I was riding along on Imperial Hwy and saw the bump pictured below with my headlight, but saw it way too late to avoid it or lift my wheel. My front wheel caught the crevice, and over the handle bars I went. Not much light around there, so I couldn't really see my injuries and ended up walking about a mile to a Coffee Bean so I assess the damage. Anyway, just be aware of this, especially if you ride at night over there. I've been through before, but I guess I avoided it last time. Bummed to be off the bike for a while (and having my bike checked at the shop meanwhile).
