You are misunderstanding me again, BG. See what Cbad said below - that's what I meant. Life's short - wear something nice.He insults me too but I just ignore him (and call him a "wuss") but when/if you meet him someday you will find that he is a great guy in person; not so much on bikeforums.net (kind of like Mr. Beanz in that way). He is definitely "flat out wrong" on quite a few subjects. As an example, the "NH" in his forum name stand for "No Helmet."

We even disagree about where to start a GMR ride (you say "the high school" and I say "Boulder Springs").
Not to mention, but I will, that you want to start GMR rides way too late, esp. in the heat of the summer. Jimmy, 7:00AM really is a good start time when the temps are up!
All that said, and like I said in the prev. post, you really are a nice guy so in person, nothing to worry about.
Oh, and to prove that double centuries with 10,000+ feet of climbing are not "masochistic" I looked up the definition:
1. The deriving of sexual gratification, or the tendency to derive sexual gratification, from being physically or emotionally abused.2. The deriving of pleasure, or the tendency to derive pleasure, from being humiliated or mistreated, either by another or by oneself.
Neither of these things have ever happened to me on a double (regardless of the climbing involved). Unfortunately (for me) there is definition #3 .
3. A willingness or tendency to subject oneself to unpleasant or trying experiences.
Okay, yeah . . . but while doubles are not unpleasant, they are sometimes challenging (which kind of like "trying") experieces! Still, 2 out of 3 is not bad!

Neither of these things have ever happened to me on a double (regardless of the climbing involved). Unfortunately (for me) there is definition #3 .

Four of us rode in the new team kit on Monday to meet January's Gran Fondo challenge on Strava.
They looked really nice in the sun...much better than the cruddy lighting in my house.

Well I got the Team Kit but it being a "team kit" it runs some what small. The bib fits but the jersey doesn't so I have exchanged it for a larger one. On the upside the bibs look great with the yellow triple crown jersey, almost a perfect match.

I only wear my race team kit...but I guess I'd wear whatever if I wasn't on a team. I think people get too hung up about what others are wearing...
