Bike path status along US101 south of Carpenteria

Anybody know if the US101 construction project South of Carpenteria has closed the bike path? I'm referring to the path along 101 between the Mobil Pier and Batrs Road.

Thanks!

The path heading south along the beach is closed for construction. All north and south bike traffic is now routed on the other side, the north bound lanes of the 101. The path is separated from the freeway by concrete barriers right now.

That is good news! Let us all hope that after construction, they retain the barriers.

After the construction is done, both lanes of bike traffic will be on the south side, I believe.

When they are done it will be similar to what they did here in San Diego. 52 - San Diego, CA. I drew the map to show how the path entrances and exits to city streets
