angeles natl forest backcountry stores between la canada and hwy 39?

to those of you that ride the roads of the angeles national forest between la canada and dawson saddle...is there a reliable store(s) along hwy 2, upper big tujunga rd or anf road n3
to resupply with water, soda, snacks? open only on the weekends? aware of the crystal lake store on the 39 but dunno the hours of operation.

haven't been up there in a long time and definitely not since the grand conflagration a few years ago. guessing that fire may have forced a existing backcountry business or two into
permanent closure. looking to do a solo century ride in the area but would prefer not to carry 4 water bottles and a grip of grub if there is a place for provisions along the route.
thanks in advance for your time and responses.

There is the little Indian Museum(Redbox?) at the junction for Mt Wilson that sales water and also has a water fountain. Just below that there is a set of restrooms with a water faucet (Angelus Forest Highway and Angelus Crest Highway Junction). Then there is Mt Wilson in the summer, never ben there that time of year but there is a store. Finally there is Newcombs Ranch where half way from the last stop to 39. They have a full service café. The closed section of 39 has a spring. Crystal Lake of course and then the next water stop will be Grassy Hollow Visitor center which i almost to Wrightwood. I do not know the hours of the locations.

Newcomb's Ranch ? Newcomb's Ranch Restaurant & Bar
Haramokngna American Indian Cultural Center
Mount Wilson Observatory

I am not familiar with any of the roads or what is available north of Highway 2.

You should be able to carry enough to make it to Newcomb's if you're coming up the 2, with or without the Upper Big T loop. If you do Upper Big T, you will miss Red Box. Newcomb's is always open--I was there Christmas Eve, and they said "Always open if the 2 is open."

The Redbox drinking fountain was broken last time I did a century up there (April).

thanks for the responses Lesper4, bitingduck & f4rrest. gonna shoot for this thurs. would do tues but, according to the website, newcomb's is closed tu/wed.
may end up blowing off newcomb's since i will have done the vast majority of climbing for the day by the time i hit it on the ride. will probably just let gravity
repay its debt and end up hitting a convenience store in la canada with 15-20 miles left in the century ride.

edit: looks like hidden springs cafe at the big tujunga/n3 intersection is the place i was thinking about that unfortunately burned down in the big fire and won't be
rebuilt. a pity.

I may be late for this ride but you can get water at the fire station on Angeles Forest near Upper Big T. It was closed for a few years. Yes, Hidden Springs Cafe burned down in that damned fire.

I've found this to be pretty helpful, though I'd double check on open hours for stores etc through secondary sources. Kudos to whoever created and maintains it, too.

thanks big john but my only question was about food/drink/water availability from the la canada area east to the 2/39 intersection and, due to the responses, looks like there's
not much available. i was already planning on it being a totally self-sufficient century ride till about mile 85 anyway so it's not a surprise.
