I know a lot of cyclists who ride ride up north or down south along the torrey pines route like to cut across UCSD. They just installed a bikestation outside the rimac gym.
Hopefully it stays this new.
All of that park tool! No corners have been cut here!
This pump is awesome; easily reaches high PSI's. The trick is to wait a second or two on a up stroke for the pump to suck in air before pushing it down.

Also spotted another next to the bike racks on south side of Geisel Library. You are not supposed to bike in the commons area during the week, but per the signs, you can ride through there on weekends and holidays.

Way cool. I'll keep my seat bag, but good to know I have something that will possibly save me spending a CO2 Cart.

That. Is. Cooler. ...Than STINK! I'm so glad to see stuff like this.
Here's a public tire pump, dedicated by Michael Boogerd, in Valkenburg, Netherlands I saw back in '08.
And for those who don't know Michael Boogerd...
I'ma have to start riding through the campus more often.

You'll also find Stu from Anywhere Bike Repair at the top of Torrey Pines most Saturdays with free water, bananas and bike stand (tools of course...).
