Angeles Crest - Chip Seal - Sand Seal section test
Finally they are testing 2 types of new sealing to help the bad chip seal issues
When: Friday, November 07, 2014 10:00 AM-11:00 AM (UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada).

Bicyclists interested in participating in riding the ACH Sand Seal Test Sections:
An opportunity to participate will take place on Friday, November 7, 2014, at 10:00 am at the following location: Go northbound on Angeles Crest Highway (SR-2) until you see the Angeles National Forest entrance (which is signed), pull over into the first turnout on the left. The entrance is about 3 miles north of I-210.
