September 7, 2013 - Pedal to the Medal (Special Olympics Nevada Event)

I know this is being discussed in the Southwest Discussion area, but believe it should be listed here in events also... Special Olympics needs support from the cycling community...

Pedal to the Medal offers something for riders of all levels and abilities with two route options and a free bicycle rodeo for both children and people with special needs.

Choose from a 25 or 50 mile route; the 50 mile route includes an optional timed hill climb up Mt. Potosi.

I will be on my Jamis to support the Nevada Special Olympics. You can find me in the west parking lot early.

I will not have a climbing bicycle for Mt. Potosi Three weeks after the collision, and the smashed Cannondale has still not been seen by a Progressive Insurance Adjuster.
