Prescott, AZ - Vacation ride
I'm going to be out in Prescott for the first week of August.
I'm going to be looking at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical university and I also want to get a good idea of the scenery and what's around in the area as far as biking and parks and such.
Can anyone recommend a good place to rent a mountain bike from and possibly a good trail to get a good look at the landscape of the area?
I'm not looking for anything too difficult, but not too easy either.
Thanks!

There's a nice loop in Prescott around Lynx lake, which is not too hard, but a nice ride nonetheless. Most of it is singletrack through the forest, about 15 miles. It takes about 2.5-3 hours.
I haven't been, but I hear that Granite Basin loops are also a lot of fun, with something to offer for various skill levels. You might look into that also.
Let me know if you want more details, or ask any questions.

I'm fond of Granite Basin - sometimes I cruise through there and get some miles in. Altitude's a killer but it sure is fun!
Thumb Butte has some sweet trails, too
