Fly to Vegas then ride to Reno, that'll warm them legs up.
Great time of year to be there. Hope you do well.

Hey, Crash. Since I have an ad for a Chicago LBS over half of your post, I can only speculate on wat the right side says
Any rate, the Reno Wheelmen run most of the local races of all flavors. Unfortunately, their website only lists 2009 races. They do hold weekly races, some of which are crits, so you might want to try the contact link on their website. They also have a few weekly training rides, as do the Procrastinating Pedalers- (Wheelmen more race oriented and Pedalers more recreational). From what I can see of your post, it looks like you already know that you`ll have a much better chance of finding something in Reno than in Fallon.

Aw, cripes! Now on my own computer at home, I see your whole OP and it looks like you do indeed know about a race that you`re already planning for. Sorry for the useless smack- have a nice trip and good luck in the crit
