Crossing from Miami to San Diego in December & January: weather?

I am planning on doing something similar to the ACA Southern Tier route during the winter months: Miami, Houston, Phoenix, San Diego.

What sort of weather can I expect in the mountains?

Thanks in advance,

Can`t help you with that, but I have a suggestion. Since there isn`t much traffic on this subforum, try reposting in Touring if you don`t get the information you need here. Have a nice ride.
