Howdy! What's your favorite trail in SF?

Daspydyr 12-19-13 01:21 PM

Pics are the rule! And I don't mean a beach cruiser in the Town Square looking at Artwork. Santa Fe rocks, but the streets are old and narrow as I remember.

Cycling in town Santa Fe is not so pleasant. But get out into the county and we have amazing 50-70 mile routes on state roads with usually wide shoulders. Lots of rollers and some decent climbing as well. Try your hand at gunning up to the ski valley. Ridewithgps has many popular routes.

Love, love, love New Mexico. I used to spend my summers hiking in the Gila wilderness area.

That mostly depends on your threshold for "too cold." I suspect you'll be good to go in the mid day and early evening, though.

Well If it's not snowing i will attempt that climb not sure if the altitude it's going to allow me to finish it but I'll give it a shot

That's the spirit. I believe Saturday morning is pretty popular with the roadies.
