We got a CirrusCycles BodyFloat seatpost for the stoker and took it out for the first time today. This is far and away the best stoker's suspension seatpost we've tried. I didn't know what to expect; we were just looking for something that was comfortable and (hopefully) wouldn't break like our Tamer post did. What I experienced was that it improved the handling of the bike even on smooth pavement. I'm guessing that it damped out my wife's pedal stroke; whatever the reason, it made the bike feel more stable. Previously, running over a series of tree roots and stuff was a jarring experience and made the bike slow down. Now the bike seems to "float" over the bumps and has the sensation of being lighter. I'm thinking about getting one for my single.
