Hi Folks
Here's a photo of our new un-painted tandem. We went with 650b gran bois rims on white industry hubs, gran bois hetre tires, brooks saddles, 180 mm disks, and couplers. Weight came in around 36 pounds fully outfitted to ride. This is our sixth tandem, and after a couple rides, I'm pretty sure it will be our favourite. This bike goes over gravel roads like nothing I've ever ridden. Working with our local builder, True North Cycles, was absolutely fantastic. Anyone looking for a great bike from Canada should check out True North. Bike's in its cases now, on the way to Bordeaux in a couple of hours.
Thanks for all the advice to my original question.
Best regards
Joe

Is the fork a 700C or 650b?

Nice Bike (and the OP's bike too).
I would put about a 3" wide strip of aluminum or titanium down the middle of the rear rack, perhaps most of the way up to the seat stays, it keeps stuff from rubbing on the tires, and also helps keep everything on the rear end cleaner.
