Weight came in around 36 pounds fully outfitted to ride. This is our sixth tandem, and after a couple rides, I'm pretty sure it will be our favourite. This bike goes over gravel roads like nothing I've ever ridden. Working with our local builder, True North Cycles, was absolutely fantastic. Anyone looking for a great bike from Canada should check out True North. Bike's in its cases now, on the way to Bordeaux in a couple of hours.

Thanks for all the advice to my original question.

Best regards
Joe

Very Pretty.

Is the fork a 700C or 650b?

the fork is a cross fork. It fits both 650b and 700c. The outside circumference is about 10 millimeters larger than the circumference of the 26 mm tires on our single bikes (but lots more volume).

We like ours unpainted. Black and silver matches everything in stoker's wardrobe, so she says.

Not GOLD?

Nice Bike (and the OP's bike too).

I would put about a 3" wide strip of aluminum or titanium down the middle of the rear rack, perhaps most of the way up to the seat stays, it keeps stuff from rubbing on the tires, and also helps keep everything on the rear end cleaner.
