Paketa V2 on TCA?

Anyone know anything about the pending ad for a Paketa V2 on TCA? It seems to have been pending for a while... Google searches suggest it might be a medium frame and possibly located in Golden Co???

Yeah, caught the thread on that one herein, and took to heart all the comments/concerns. Just for grins I contacted seller for the serial number hoping to get more info from Paketa but so far no joy. Wouldn't mind finding a good used frame, especially an"R" but that listing seems a bit "off..." Who puts that much into a frame and puts that level of "components" on it?

I've heard of people using the spare parts they had around to finish out a frame, either because they used the good parts off of it for something else, or they just wound up with an extra frame.
It might be worth asking the seller about buying frame only if that's of interest.

And I thought I was the only one who did that, but still, it's like mounting whitewalls on my Porsche.

While the list price is a bit high as a complete bike, frame only would talk me right out of it, especially since I could "deal" with the lower level V2 frame brand new with warranty [and only a little heavier] for a grand less. I could actually use the parts off this one to finish out another project I have going, so I could use the parts after I rebuild.

Probably a moot point as I've sent two messages to the seller with no response and there's no way I would bid without getting my questions answered. If he's desperate to sell he'll probably relist... If not it's not meant to be and I go with a different, possibly new, frame.
