kickstand for a Nishiki

Hi,

I picked up an older Nishiki tandem (6-cog freewheel on the rear to give an idea of the date of it), and it also has a drum brake. Two of the cables run under the bottom brackets. I tried to mount one of the dual-leg style stands but the cables are in the way. I then tried to mount one of those Greentree sidestands that clamp to the rear seat/chain stays but the drum brake arm is in the way. Any other ideas for sidestands for a tandem?

In the mean time it's leaning against a nearby wall or laying in the grass.

Thanks.

mike.

Geez, We use a tree or a wall. Of course, I use a tree or a wall for my half bike too.
