Calfee sighting on our ride Saturday

We were nearing the end of our ride on Saturday and were stopped at an intersection waiting for a light.
We saw a tandem going across the direction we were headed.
When the light turned green I wasn't sure we would see them again but I pedaled a little harder and we caught up with them at the next light.
It was two women on a pretty new Calfee Tetra with deep carbon wheels and we coasted up along side them on our Calfee.
We chatted for a bit, it turns out the stoker was a young lady who is blind and a triathlete training for Rio.
They were pretty fast and half our age so we didn't ride with them for long.
Its pretty rare to see another Calfee tandem where we live.

We seem to get a lot more attention when riding our 55mm section carbon wheels over the 28mm alloys. I'm guessing 2 fit girls on a tandem might exceed that

Was likely Sabine R. of the Blind Stoker's Club captaining Amy D.

Yes it was them.
A while back rode with Dave and Nancy White and he told me about the blind stoker club.
