Crank options, stronglight?

I've been checking around for cranks to update my kuwahara with and need some advice. My first choice at the moment is the FSA gossamer mega exo, though I'm also taking a look at the stronglight speedlight which does use an isis BB and I could always use FSA's mega exo isis bb. If anyone has an opinion one way or the other on these or other cranks it would be appreciated. Also what difference does the left side gearing make? My current cranks have a 34t and most of the newer ones seem to be a 43t, does this change the overall gearing or just make the chainrings last longer? Thanks for any answers.
