Non carbon 'wing' bars

Anyone know of a non CF wing bar? Wife wants to try the drop bars now instead of sticking with the hook bars that came on our tandem. I may not be using the correct terminology but my .5 bike came with the CF wing bar where the handle bar is flat on both sides of the stem. In conjunction with the Specialized Bar Phat tape, the wing bar is a real comfy setup...we kind of want to do the same on the tandem minus the CF.

I've seen the carbon ones on a two custOM Erickson's - very flashy and they look very practical and then I started pricing them och! Let me know what you finally get a price on them.

First set of alloy wing bars we ever saw were custom built by Colin Laing in Phoenix, AZ in the mid-1980s.

I think you are looking for traditional road bike drop bars with the flat tops.

I have these on my road bike https://www.profile-design.com/2006_p...bar/dromo.html.

ITM makes some very nice ones, and so does Cinelli.
