Going rto Tucson AZ, last minute tips?
We are leaving on sunday from Montreal Canada to tucson, it will be our first real trip with the tandem.
I am axious to be there but more worried about packing the tandem so it can be transoprted in the plane.
I got some comments from people who flew with bikes that the airlines really dont care that its a bike and will not take care of the box.
Ive got two single bike boxes, almost everything has been taken apart on the bike that would not fit in the dimentions that the airline require. The thing that worries me the most is the wheels, specially spoke damage, if there is weight on the box, it could crush the wheels.
Any tips for a nervous first time traveler that want to enjoy riding in the desert?
Thanks
