Hi folks,

Well, we are back from our first tandem rally. I can't remember when I've had so much fun riding on quiet back country roads and getting to look at so many different tandems, although most were Co-Motions. I even got to meet Craig Calfee and to see and feel his carbon fiber Dragonfly.

I thought what was most interesting was the fact that there were so many tandems cruising around that your brain shifted gears and accepted tandems as the normal situation and singles as the exception. Here's a picture of the parking lot at one of the rest stops:

Glad you enjoyed your first tandem rallY!
The area is a hotbed for Co-Motions, Burley and Bike Fridays (all made in Eugene, OR) within a few miles of each other.
Been doing tandem rallies since 1975 . . . they become addictive!
Seems like 'tandemitis' has struck the Ihbernhardt team!
And yes, tandeming is the 'norm' for many of us!
Pedal on TWOgether!

Rudy is right. This could be addictive. We're already talking about next year's rally up in Yakama. I took several digital pictures, and I need to down-size them and get them posted. Should be able to do that in the next few days. The roads, support, food, and everything else was first class. Can't wait to do it again.
