Anybody use an AEROSPOKE on the rear of thier tandem?
I just had my rear hub overhalued. Seems to be fine but wonder if I ever need a new wheel, how would an Aerospoke do? I know they are heavy but not a real big concer as we are a heavy team (400 lbs). Don't tell her I told you!
They say strong enough to supprot a motorcycle. We are tough on tandem wheels.
Any concerns or experience?
Aerospoke no longer markets the tandem version of their wheels... In practice, while they are still way up there on cool factor and "seem" to be robust, most objective reviewers and test riders reported that they flexed quite a bit, both laterially and radially; the latter purportedly being something akin to have multiple flat spots according to the heavier teams.
Thanx TG! I guess they are out of the question!
