Tandem Teams at Hoodoo 500
Hi!
Calling all tandem teams...
We've not yet had a tandem team or a tandem relay team at the Hoodoo 500 - and we'd really love to have some tandems out there!
519 miles, 30,000' of climbing, 48 hours.
Check it out: https://www.hoodoo500.com

I think I can safely represent the tandem teams on this forum by responding to this generous invitation with the following: "OUCH!!!!"
I've driven many of those roads. The scenery is spectacular, and desolate. That's big country. And we've ridden Lotoja, 206 miles. If a couple survived the Hoodoo500 on a tandem, it would be a once in a lifetime. Because she may never get back on the tandem.
Note: I didn't say that there aren't a few sick-os here that aren't contemplating how to talk their wives into this.

I read the rules (curiosity, not a likely rider) and noticed the overall bike length rule of 79" or so -- that would be a very "compact" tandem. You might want to clarify that issue ..
