George is a Great guy, did you happen to look at the Phil Wood disc brake on his Bontragger tandem?
The Calfee was in so that George could take the stoker stem with him to Calfee, I am hoping to have something done in carbon to replace the current CoMo chrome piece.

I enjoy watching this thread and the pictures are great. However, when the interchange between a couple of members turns to a personal interchange that does not involve the general readership, perhaps private e-mails or instant messaging would be more appropriate. Just my opinion.

Finally some pictures of us in motion! Last weekend's 100km (no 107k, no 110k) populaire.
Still smiling at the end, success in my book! (Notice the cue sheet clothes-pinned to my back; a tip learned here that worked pretty well.)

Seven teams getting ready to start this years Palm Springs ride. The last few years we've done 55 which gives us plenty of time for socializing around the pool.

Just your typical Norcal Bikeforums ride
Ride setup thread -> https://www.bikeforums.net/northern-california/537670-5-9-ride.html
Ride Report thread -> https://www.bikeforums.net/northern-california/539897-5-9-mt-tam-ride-report-pt-reyes-no-go.html
route:
PS - The route data isn't mine, but the guy had the same ride time as us despite difference pacing on climbs and descents.... go figure.

Hot spring day in the Bay area following short R/T to watch son's triathlon. Note stoker/exec management badly out of phase. Only had a tandem for 3 weeks, but this sure is fun.

What wheels do you have on your bike? We've got an '07 Cnndl and I was thinking about upgrading to a lighter wheel set. Do they in disc brake too?

Four of us on the Tandem
Hello:
We have only had our tandem for two weeks but absolutely LOVE it. Here is a picture of us on Toronto Island enjoying the sunshine. Sometimes my wife will be stoker and our 10 year old (stoker in the picture) will ride solo and navigate. Either way, we get lots of smiles and comments, and hear people counting out loud as we go by...one...two....three....four.......there's FOUR people on that bike!

Our first four-day trip on our tandem, from Springfield, IL to Joliet, IL along the old Route 66.
The bike held up nicely, until the rear tire blowout that is.
Picture was taken at the restored Standard Oil gas station in Odell, IL

This shot was totally the stoker's idea.
