    Trying to find crank arm

    Hello everyone,

We have the unfortunate problem of stripped threads on our Burley. It uses the Sugino GP 110 Tandem Crankset. No one in town has anything and I'm having a difficult time finding a store online as well. Ideally we could order just the left crank arm. Can you give us any suggestions of online stores to checkout?

Also, do we need to measure this out or does specifying "Sugino GP 110" suffice?

This site appears to have it in, I'm waiting to hear back from them if it will fit.

    Thanks for your help.

Your local bike shop should be able to replace the original threads by drilling and tapping the axle hole for use with a Helicoil insert, or will know of a machine shop in your area who can.

It's about a 15 minute job... tops, and certainly less expensive than a new crank. Perhaps even less than the shipping costs.

Thanks TandemGeek... I'll call around and see if anyone can do it. You definitely saved us a few bucks!
