    2004 Rumba

I have a line on a 2004 Rumba on CL. The seller says its in perfect condtion and paid $2200, he wants $750, and its a 24 speed drivetrain. So I emailed him back with some ?'s. He says the size is 26" and has about 500 miles on it.

He is confused about the size, but did Burley spec. a 26" wheel? Also was 24 speed spec. for 2004, I thought it would be 27 during that time frame even if it was their entry level machine. And $2200 for a Rumba again wasn't retail about $17-1800.

If it fits I might shoot him a price more like $500 its hard to find info on this model year.

    Thanks
    Tim

The description would suggest it's a Samba and not a Rumba:

Rumba was the road tandem with 700c wheels.
Samba was the mt. bike style tandem with 26" wheels.
Offer 5 bills and see if he bites . . . or then split the difference.
