Hokitika Tandem????

Anyone have any info on Tandems East new tandem Hokitika?
Apparently frame is USA-built and priced as 'affordable'.
Hokitika is an area on the west coast of New Zealand's South Island, one of Mel and Bar's favorite New Zealand tour spots.
Tandems East is doing another one of their popular Tandem Demo Days and Ride, May 28/29 this year in New Jersey.
Will have over 70 tandems on display/test.

Pretty sure it's March 28th & 29th. Scheduled guest speakers include Dwan Shepherd from Co-Motion and Rolf Dietrich of Rolf Wheels. I want to say there were others, but off-hand I can't recall.

Yup, date is MARCH 28/29 although the front sheet miss-states what year (2008) but correct year on page 2 . . .
Proofreading is becoming a lost art (me included) and spellcheck does not help in this case.
At under $3,000 Mel's housebrand could well fill in a gap that Burley and Trek's tandem demise created. Mel and Barb have their finger on the pulse of the tandem market . . . we wish 'em luck!

Just a little off track here but we wish Mel the best with this Tandem .... ' a good man that knows his business that has treated me (just another guy on the phone taking up his time) very well. He does what he says..when he says he will, sold us stuff that worked exactly as he said it would. Gave us quality at a fair price. There are some others out there like him, just not nearly enough.
