Tandem Shipping

I guess DHL/Danzas no longer does US domestic shipping.
What are the best alternatives to UPS/Fedex Ground?

I wrote about a shipping company I recently used over at the CGOAB site. Aliant was a good deal for me.

i just had a Santana tandem shipped from CA to PA via DHL/Danzas. I called them and they picked up from the bike shop that packed the bike I sold.

Interesting...their homepage and phone says they no longer do domestic shipping. I wonder if that was recent.

I noticed that on their website as well but that only apparently applies to regular shipping. I called the # from the Santana web site and they were very responsive and helpful.

Well, it made it in great shape. The big burly UPS driver woman wasn't very careful with it and luckily I caught it when she pitched it over.(It was standing long way up).
I got it assembled pretty quickly and we'll get to try it out tomorrow.
