Thanks for posting that picture, it just brings back memories 
My grandparents had a red Schwinn, with identical frame, that my brother and I used to borrow when we visited them in Florida. This was probably the reason I ride a tandem now. Aside from being red, it had just a rear coaster brake, thank goodness FL is so flat.
