Litespeed Tandem
Looking to buy my first tandem for me and my wife, and found a Litespeed Taliani for sale. I have several Litespeed bikes and really like them, but I don't know what their experience is with building tandems.
We are a small team ( 160 + 90 = 250 pounds), and are looking to ride moderate distances ( centuries) , not to race.
Any information is appreciated,
Thanks
Carlos

I've only seen one (this year at the High Sierra Fall Century) and it was absolutely beautiful. While I have no idea of it age it radiated the typical Litespeed impeccable craftsmanship and quality. It was ridden by an average size team (my guess 280 to 310 pounds) and they were blazing fast and one of the best climbing teams we've seen in years. Clearly the Litespeed did not limit their performance.
At your team's weight I'm sure you are not going to over stress it in any way....if it fits...I would not hesitate.
Good luck, have fun.
