No idea on numbers yet. The Kenilworth is handling the registration. We have a meeting with them on Feb 5th so I'll post what I find out then.

At this point we have 28 registered for the Sebring Tandem Rally. We are committed to hold the rally no matter the numbers so it is officially on.

The rally is being held the weekend of Feb 20 & 21 with Monday the 22nd being an optional day for those who want to stay over. A local tandem couple will be leading that ride. The cost is $125 which includes registration for the 2 day event, long sleeve t-shirts, a wine & cheese party Friday evening for early arrivals, breakfast both days of the event, rest stops and a catered banquet Saturday night. Include in that list excellent country side riding and lots of fun!

Registration can be made by going to the Kenilworth Lodge web site at:
    http://www.kenilworthlodge.com/packages/?id=436

    or at Active.com at:

    Hope to see you there!

Just letting you all know that we presently have 18 teams registered for this year's Sebring Tandem Rally. The weather forecast for this coming weekend looks like some of the nicest weather we've had for quite a while. Perfect riding conditions!

Still lots of room for more teams. There is no penalty for a late registration so it's still $125 for the two day event. Here's some information about the rally and a link to get the registration brochure:

Just got back from a fine weekend of tandeming with a nice group of folks including transam and his lovely wife. Great job, well done! We appreciate that you took the initiative to bring this event back to life, because we always have enjoyed the Sebring Tandem Rally in the past. Hopefully as the word spreads that the rally is back on, the attendance will improve with each passing year. The rides in the Sebring area were as excellent as ever and the weather even cooperated. The banquet, which you MC'ed, was entertaining and the food was better than I ever remember it in the past. Kudos also to Mark, Madge and the staff from the Kenilworth for their part in making the event a success. Also thanks to the volunteers who manned the rest stops. Above all thanks to you and your wife for all you did to bring back a first class tandem rally to central Florida and best of luck for the future of the STR. Oh yes, and thanks to all the tandem teams that came out to ride and supported the event in this comeback year!

    Steve,

Thanks much for your comments about this year's rally. It truly was an excellent weekend. What a great group of tandem couples we had this weekend. Great food, great fellowship, great weather, great riding...it doesn't get any better! Let's hope that the event just keeps growing from here. Kudos to all that were involved!
